Chris finally speaks

So I watched the Chris Brown interview with Larry King. Before watching it I thought it was going to be a good chance for Chris to speak his peace, clear some things up, and just answer some questions that has been on everyones mind, but I was left with the complete opposite.
To me the interview was a COMPLETE waste of time because of:
1. Chris' refusal to answer any questions regarding what happened that night (I understand his want to maintain privacy, but if thats the case why agree to do an interview??)
2. He did not seem like he was prepped on how to answer ANY questions. I think if he had some coaching on it he would have been able to get his points across better, even if he did not go into detail on the incident. (there were times when he seemed just as lost as we were)

Another thing that bothered me was his moms insistence that an incident like this had never happened before. To me, this did more harm to Chris because if he had been in an altercation of some sort before, then behavior like this would have been expected and more understandable, but since he had not, it raised a question in my mind - what happened in that car that pushed him to do something so out of his character?

In my opinion this interview was a bad move and an unnecessary one. He already apologized to Rihanna and his fans, he got his sentence so he'll be paying his debt to society, and he is going to counseling. Nothing else NEEDED to be said on this issue... so why agree to do an interview AND THEN refuse to answer questions? Maybe this was some kind of publicity stunt...idk. I hope he can move on with his career and bounce back after all this.
